I am 21 years old and my name is Krysta. I became pregnant when I was 18 years old and fresh out of high school. My daughter was born in 2009, when I was 19. My husband and I married in April of 2011. I am a stay at home mom by choice while my husband brings home the bacon.
I recently started a daycare. I am currently doing this as a trial and only have one child who comes in the afternoon until after dinner.
Before I got pregnant I had plans to go to college for film, video and media studies. I wanted to be a film editor. I had to give all of this up to take care of my child. I worked full time my entire pregnancy and attempted to go to community college. After my daughter was born I found it very hard to leave her. Everyone told me it would get easier...it never did. School suffered and so did work.
In December of 2010 my fiance (also my daughter's dad) and I moved into our first home where we are currently still living. We got married in April of 2011 just before our daughter turned 2. Everyone keeps asking me if we are trying for our 2nd. We are not trying but we are just letting nature take it's course. Hopefully we can have news of a new addition soon!
Part of the reason I started this blog is because I feel like I lose myself in my day to day activities. At the end of the day there is no me left because I spend my day cleaning, cooking, wiping noses, getting peed on...etc. This blog is to help me remember the important things and why I wanted to be a stay at home mom in the first place.
I will also be posting tips, deals, advice and asking for advice as well. I hope we can all learn from each other and share some laughs at our motherhood blunders.
